2L have spent many years developing a number of residential and commercial properties. Some of these properties we have chosen to keep in our own portfolio, which is further supplemented with acquired properties.

2L Holding A/S together with Boll+ invested in the conversion of an old silo in the most attractive development area in Copenhagen, “Nordhavnen”.
The project, named “Frihavns Tårnet”, referring to the former use of the area with customs warehousing, is more than 50 meters high, with 12 storeys and 78 spectacular apartments.
All apartments in the project, finalised in Q1 2017, are sold.

At 2L Holding, we find properties where we can work further on the history and soul that is unique for the plot, location and building. This is how it has been with all our projects, especially those on Holmen in Copenhagen. Yet the Mast Sheds have something unique. They form a unique structure that as a result of a series of coincidences have been allowed to stand, even though it is 250 years since they were built. For this reason they are listed buildings. With the project, which we present here, we believe to have found a good balance between history and modern functionality.
The project has been awarded a prize by Copenhagen City Council.

The Boiler Shop (Kedelsmedien), Holmen

Copenhagen Boiler Shop at Holmen inspires new visions and exciting projects. There are high ceilings and room for grand gestures here. There is the authentic framework and a view here that extends beyond the building's four walls and the quay outside the windows. The Boiler Shop was designed by architect C.T. Andersen according to the original by the Royal Building Inspector Ferdinand Meldahl and built 1887-88. With a unique location, an unusual prominence, as well as architectural robustness and craftsmanship from floor to ceiling.
